Poppy Kelly

Poppy trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, where she gained diplomas in both Naturopathic Nutrition and Naturopathy. She is as empathetic as she is skilled, and is knowledgeable and highly experienced in urinary tract health. 

Poppy is our in-house urinary-tract expert and has trained with the world-renowned Ruth Kriz to help support women who suffer from chronic and recurring urinary tract infections, kidney stones and interstitial cystitis. However, it is essential to note that her BANT registration restricts her from seeing anyone with active kidney disease or renal disease.

This is a cutting-edge DNA-based test that looks far deeper than traditional cultures. It identifies both bacterial and fungal microbes in the urine, even those that don’t grow in a lab dish, giving a much fuller picture of what’s going on. What’s especially helpful is that it also checks for antibiotic resistance genes, so you can find out which treatments are likely to work best. This can be a game-changer for persistent or tricky infections that haven’t responded to usual antibiotics.

Before attending the College of Naturopathic Nutrition, Poppy worked in fashion, theatre, and TV as a makeup artist. Poppy is a mother of three daughters in their twenties.

She loves her daily walks with her pack of dogs as well as more adventurous hikes, such as trekking in Nepal and even climbing Mont Blanc and Ben Nevis. She is also a total convert to wild swimming and enjoys a daily cold dip. Downtime activities include ballet, cycling, running and yoga as well as cooking and reading.

She splits her time between London and Dorset and currently offers in-person and virtual video consultations via our video Telehealth system.
