Watermelon Strawberry Cooler
My watermelon and strawberry cooler is a vibrant and hydrating summer drink, which is perfect for hot and busy days. Slurp on this delicious drink for a natural electrolyte boost when you need it.
Coconut water is naturally isotonic, and it is often referred to as nature’s sports drink, thanks to its rich electrolyte profile, which includes calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium. It’s low in sugar, but don’t worry, it tastes delicious.
Watermelon adds extra hydration, as it’s made up of 92% water, and it is a great source of vitamins such as A, B1, B6, C, and the antioxidant lycopene. It also supports healthy kidney function, and I often recommend it for those dealing with persistent urinary tract issues.
Strawberries and lime add a touch of vitamin C and good antioxidants. At the same time, a pinch of sea salt helps replace essential minerals lost through heat or exercise, making this the perfect natural rehydration drink for children and adults alike.
Whizz up the ingredients in less than a minute for a naturally sweet and delicious way to cool down and rehydrate.
