Dreamy Creamy Strawberry Milkshake

This scrumptious strawberry milkshake is a total winner if you are looking for a protein-rich pick-me-up! Cashews add extra creaminess, natural sweetness and a lovely protein boost. The frozen strawberries and Greek yoghurt give that irresistible ‘ice-cream milkshake’ vibe.

Dreamy Creamy Strawberry Milkshake

  • 1 Banana
  • 120 g Strawberries ((frozen))
  • 0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 50 g Cashew Nuts
  • 2 tbs Greek Yoghurt
  • 325 ml Milk ((of choice))
  1. Peel and chop the banana. Put the banana into a blender along with the frozen strawberries, vanilla extract, maple syrup, cashew nuts and Greek yoghurt.

  2. Top up with the milk, and whizz until thick, creamy and fully blended. This takes less than a minute.

  3. Divide between two glasses and serve straight away.

  • Nut-free – Switch the cashew nuts to one tablespoon of hulled hemp seeds, sunflower seeds or tahini (sesame) paste.
  • Dairy-free or Vegan – Use plant-based milk and yoghurt.
  • This milkshake stores in the fridge for up to 48 hours. Use the leftovers to make ice lollies and freeze for up to 3 months.
